Can anyone offer suggestions for reverse-tine tiller for B7510. New isn't important. Also. Currently use brush hog and post hole digger for attachments. What sort of field mower works best on this size tractor. Thanks!

Land Pride makes a nice looking reverse tine tiller. I almost bought one last winter when I bought my 15 series conventional forward rotaton tiller. They sat side by side on the dealer lot, I'd have loved to bought both of them BUT, I haven't won the powerball yet. Our soil is a bit on the rocky side here so went with the conventiional, my thoughts being that a conventional rotation can kick a rock our where as a reverse may tend to lodge a rock under the shroud. I never ran one, but just my thoughts. Far sa a mower recommendation, what do you want to mow? Enjoy your day. Frank. ....

I have a 4' Howard tiller. I never heard of reverse tine but should work fine. I think 4' is good for most soil if not too dry. I also have a post hole digger and is awsum. I also bought a Howse 4' rottary cutter for tall grass and am amazed at how clean it cuts thick alfalfa and prickery ash about 1" thick. What is the advantage of a reverse tine though?? ....

ihookem; In real hard soil conditions the reverse tine models tend to pull themselves into the soil rather than ride out and push the tractor. I've heard it said they work better in trashy soils as they tend to throw the trash up over the rotating tine assembly rather than wrap and plug. Frank. ....

Troy Built did a good job showing the advantages of the reverse tine tiller. In hand operated machines big advantage as Hardwood points out. Have no idea with tractor mounted machines is there is such difference or not. kt ....

The stones will kill a reverse tine as they tend to run them over the top a jam them up. For most all conditions the forward work well and they tend to bury the trash instead of leaving it on the top. Four foot would be the largest that I'd be looking for but no more! ....
